Brother launches A4 ink MFPs for small work groups

Brother announced two new A4 ink‑multifunction printers, the MFC‑J5110DW and MFC‑J5010DW, aimed at small businesses, freelancers and home‑office users. Both models use the company's Maxidrive piezoelectric printhead – previously limited to A3 devices – and can print up to 28 pages per minute with consistent quality. They feature automatic duplex printing, a fast first‑page output of about 4.5 seconds, and large XL ink cartridges that deliver up to 6,000 black or 5,000 colour pages. The MFC‑J5110DW offers two 250‑sheet trays and a 4.3‑inch touchscreen, while the MFC‑J5010DW has a single 250‑sheet tray and a 2.7‑inch touchscreen. Both include a dual‑CIS scanner with a 50‑sheet automatic feeder and support USB, Gigabit Ethernet and dual‑band Wi‑Fi.

In addition, Brother continues to market its laser multifunction printer MFC‑L2800DW, a black‑and‑white A4 device with LAN and Wi‑Fi connectivity. It prints at 32 pages per minute, handles up to 2,500 pages per month, and offers a 250‑sheet paper capacity, duplex printing and a 1,200 dpi resolution. The model is positioned for office environments that require fast, reliable monochrome output.
