Brothers of Metal Open Air festival concludes in Malung

The Brothers of Metal Open Air festival in Malung, Sweden, concluded with approximately 2,500 paying attendees despite highly variable weather conditions, including heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Festival organizer and band member Mats Nilsson described the event as an emotional and physical success. While final financial figures are still being calculated, Nilsson noted that the atmosphere was positive and the community support was significant. The event utilized 200 staff members and featured two stages: the Alec stage and the Johan Perjos stage.

The band Brothers of Metal performed their first home-turf show, concluding the festivities with pyrotechnics and fireworks. While the organizers are currently reviewing the accounts before deciding on future editions, the feedback from the audience and local community has been largely positive.
