BRS demands probe into Telangana land allotment to company linked to CM's brother

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has demanded a formal investigation into the allotment of approximately five acres of government land in Telangana to Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited. The BRS working president, KT Rama Rao, alleged that the land, valued at roughly Rs 200 crore, was allotted to the company for approximately Rs 7 crore.

Rama Rao raised concerns regarding the company's credentials, noting that Tesseract has a paid-up capital of only Rs 1 lakh and reported zero employees as of March 31, 2025. The BRS further alleged that the company is linked to Anumula Kondal Reddy, the brother of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who is identified as the company's chairman in various professional profiles.

The opposition party has vowed to approach the Telangana Governor, the Lokayukta, and the courts to seek transparency. They are demanding the release of all official documents related to the allotment, including land valuation, eligibility criteria, and investment proposals.
