BRS leaders hold farmer protest rally in Adilabad

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party organized a large-scale public meeting, titled ‘Raithu Garjana’, in Adilabad to protest against the current Congress government. BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao attended the event as the chief guest at the DIET College grounds.

Party leaders, including former minister Jogu Ramanna, accused the Revanth Reddy administration of failing to fulfill election promises, specifically regarding loan waivers and the ‘Rythu Bharosa’ scheme. They also demanded that Adilabad be declared a drought-affected district due to water shortages and crop losses.

BRS officials highlighted rising farmer distress, citing reports of suicides and inadequate compensation for crop damage. The party plans to continue this series of farmer-focused rallies across North Telangana, with upcoming scheduled events in Nizamabad, Nirmal, and Karimnagar to address agricultural and labor issues.
