Bruce Dickinson announces new heavy solo album

Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has announced that he is working on a new solo album, which is expected to be released early next year. In a recent interview with VSX, Dickinson described the upcoming project as a standalone work that will be “heavy as shit.”

While the new record follows 2024’s ‘The Mandrake Project’, Dickinson clarified that it is not a direct sequel. He noted that while one song may have a slight connection to the previous project, he intends to avoid repeating formats to ensure musical variety.

This solo endeavor comes alongside Iron Maiden’s ongoing ‘Run For Your Lives’ world tour, which has recently completed a European leg and has further dates scheduled across North and South America, Asia, and Australasia.
