Bruce Kulick announces new solo album project

Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick has confirmed he is working on a new solo album, describing the project as a ‘nice rebirth’. The musician is collaborating with Todd Kerns, the bassist and vocalist for Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators and Triumph.

The creative process for the upcoming record is deeply tied to Kulick’s recent health challenges. Following heart valve surgery in April 2024, Kulick began writing music as a way to process his recovery. One central track, titled ‘Without Her’, chronicles his experience in the operating room and his subsequent recuperation with the support of his wife, Lisa.

Kulick is working with a circle of close musical collaborators rather than major commercial names. These include Joe McGuinness, who has provided background arrangements, and Patrick Vitagliano.
