Bruce Markets expands U.S. equity trading to weekends and strengthens Korean connectivity
Bruce Markets is expanding its U.S. equities trading capabilities, aiming to introduce weekend trading sessions within the coming months, subject to regulatory review. This initiative seeks to establish a 24/7 trading ecosystem for global investors. The expansion is supported by strategic investments from PEAK6 Investments and Robinhood Markets, alongside existing investors including Nasdaq Ventures, Fidelity Investments, and Apex Fintech Solutions.
To support this infrastructure, Bruce Markets will utilize Nasdaq’s trading technology and Apex Clearing Corporation will provide clearing, account management, and custody services.
In South Korea, Bruce Markets is also enhancing market resilience for international investors. Toss Securities has connected to the Bruce ATS market data feed for overnight U.S. equities, following a similar integration by Meritz Securities. This move is intended to reduce the risk of ‘blind trading’ for Korean investors during market data outages by providing alternative pathways to liquidity.
