Bruce Prichard reportedly to retire from WWE after WrestleMania 43

WWE Executive Director of Creative Writing and Talent Bruce Prichard is expected to retire from his full-time role following WrestleMania 43 in April 2027. According to reports from PWInsider and confirmation from Fightful, the 63-year-old executive plans to step away from his current day-to-day responsibilities, which include overseeing the writing teams for Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.

While Prichard is expected to end his current tenure and relocate away from Stamford, Connecticut, he is reportedly intended to remain connected to the company in a consulting capacity. Although some sources suggest the WrestleMania timeline is firm, others note that the nature of the wrestling industry could allow for changes to the schedule.

Prichard has had a long history with WWE, originally joining in 1987. He is well known for his on-screen character, Brother Love, and for serving as a key backstage producer and creative lieutenant for Vince McMahon. He returned to the company in 2019 and currently operates under the leadership of Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. There is currently no official word regarding a successor for his position.
