Bruce Springsteen to release Philadelphia concert film on September 9

Bruce Springsteen has announced the release of a new concert film, ‘Land Of Hope And Dreams American Tour (Philadelphia Freedom Cut)’, set to begin streaming on September 9. The film documents the finale of his 2026 American tour, recorded with the E Street Band at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Center on May 30.

The tour and the resulting film heavily feature political themes, including democracy, civil rights, and resistance against authoritarianism. Springsteen used the Philadelphia performance to address themes of unity and the rule of law. The film’s trailer includes footage of ‘Streets Of Minneapolis’, a 2026 protest song.

The full concert is expected to be released in four stages throughout the year. The tour featured guest appearances by Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello and included a setlist with songs such as ‘Born In The U.S.A.’, ‘Death To My Hometown’, and ‘Clampdown’.
