Brugge to host international plant-based gastronomy event in 2026

Brugge will host a major international event for plant-based gastronomy from October 25 to 27, 2026. The gathering marks the 10th anniversary of the We’re Smart organization and aims to highlight the central role of fruits and vegetables in the future of culinary arts, health, and sustainability.

The event is expected to bring together more than 200 top chefs from over 50 countries. Key components of the three-day program include the We’re Smart Future Awards, the international We’re Smart Awards Show, and the inaugural Global Pure Plant Conference. Participants will include restaurateurs, producers, researchers, and food industry professionals focusing on the evolution of plant-centric gastronomy.
