Brugherio: Missing 87-year-old Filippo Arcuri found dead

The search for 87-year-old Filippo Arcuri, who disappeared in Brugherio on August 15, 2026, has ended tragically. Arcuri had gone missing after having lunch with relatives.

His body was discovered lifeless on the afternoon of Monday, August 17, in an area near his home in the Via Marsala zone. The discovery follows a two-day search involving law enforcement and volunteers, prompted by an urgent appeal from the association Penelope Lombardia, which noted the man was in a state of difficulty and required assistance.

Carabinieri officers arrived at the scene to conduct investigations and determine the cause of death. The body has been moved to the morgue pending authorization for funeral arrangements.
