More than 130 sailors are expected to compete in Bruinisse on September 19 and 20 for the Dutch national titles in the RS500, RS Aero, and RS Feva classes. This marks the first time these three class organizations have held a joint championship. The RS500 and RS Aero events are open national championships, allowing for international participation.
In addition to the competitive racing, local sailing schools like Aquavitesse are exploring new technologies, such as teaching foiling techniques using specialized boats like the Nikki and Skeeta. These efforts aim to make advanced sailing skills, such as foiling, more accessible to sailors who already possess basic dinghy qualifications.
