Brujo wins twelfth Catavino de Oro at Semana Náutica

The Grand Soleil 37 ‘Brujo’, helmed by Juan Luis Páez and owned by Federico Linares of the Real Club Náutico de Cádiz, has secured its twelfth Catavino de Oro title at the 55th Semana Náutica de El Puerto de Santa María. This victory marks their third consecutive win in the competition.

Following a dominant performance in the bay of Cádiz, the team secured the championship after winning the sixth race of the week, which provided a sufficient points lead to mathematically guarantee the title. This achievement follows their recent victory in the Regata Juan de la Cosa.

The podium for the absolute standings included the Salona 37 ‘Sálvora’, owned by Pedro Agudo, in second place, and the Grand Soleil 42 ‘Solerig VI’, owned by Ignacio de Colmenares, in third. Other class winners included ‘Mar Amigo’ in ORC 1, ‘Solerig VI’ in ORC 2, ‘Brujo’ in ORC 3, and ‘Vindio’ in ORC 4.
