Bruna Lombardi discusses leaving television to raise her son

Brazilian actress Bruna Lombardi recently discussed her decision to step away from television during the height of her fame in the 1980s. She explained that the constant public scrutiny made it difficult to maintain a normal life, stating, “I was in places and I couldn't help but be seen, but I also couldn't see, because you are the focus of everything.”

Lombardi chose to move to the United States to raise her son, Kim Riccelli, away from the spotlight. Her goal was to ensure he could have a normal childhood without the pressures of being the child of famous parents. After several years, she returned to Brazilian television in the 1990s as a presenter and has since focused her career on writing and screenwriting.
