Brunner and Hüberli advance to Elite16 Hamburg final

Swiss beach volleyball duo Nina Brunner and Tanja Hüberli have advanced to the final of the Elite16 tournament in Hamburg. They secured their place after defeating the defending champions, Italy's Valentina Gottardi and Reaka Orsi Toth, in a semifinal match that lasted 32 minutes.

Brunner and Hüberli won the match in straight sets with scores of 21-8 and 21-18. Following the victory, Hüberli noted the team's strong performance in block-defense, stating, "It's just running well at the moment."

The Swiss pair will face Latvian duo Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova in the final. Meanwhile, the Italian team of Gottardi and Orsi Toth will compete in the bronze medal match against the Brazilian pair Carol and Rebecca.
