Bruno Ezequiel Giambelluca remains a fugitive after corruption of minors conviction
The Criminal Cassation Court of the Province of Buenos Aires has upheld a sentence against Bruno Ezequiel Giambelluca, sentencing him to six years and six months in prison for the corruption of minors. The crimes occurred in the Cabildo area, within the Bahía Blanca judicial department, between June and July 2016. The victim was a six-year-old girl.
According to judicial records, Giambelluca allegedly posed as a doctor to subject the child to sexual situations and engaged in other abusive behaviors, including requesting sexual photos and videos. While he was initially sentenced to a suspended term in 2017, the prosecution appealed, leading the court to reclassify the crimes and increase the prison term.
Giambelluca has been a fugitive for nearly six years. The Ministry of Security of the Province of Buenos Aires is offering a reward of between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000 for reliable information that leads to his capture. Authorities have guaranteed confidentiality for anyone providing data to the Provincial Directorate of the Registry of Missing Persons or the Criminal Court No. 2 of Bahía Blanca.
