Italian footballer Bruno Giordano is celebrating his 70th birthday. A former prominent striker, Giordano is widely recognized for his significant contributions to Lazio and Napoli.

During his tenure at Lazio, Giordano became a symbol of the club, notably winning the Serie A top scorer title in the 1978-79 season with 19 goals. His career faced a major setback due to a three-year suspension related to a football betting scandal in 1980, though he was later acquitted by ordinary courts.

Giordano later joined Napoli, where he played alongside Diego Armando Maradona and Careca. This period marked a major success in his career, including winning the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia during the 1986-87 season. Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching, management, and television commentary.
