Bruno Mars launches The Romantic Tour at MetLife Stadium

Bruno Mars launched his highly anticipated ‘The Romantic Tour’ with a sold-out performance at MetLife Stadium. The nearly two-hour set served as a celebration of Black and Latin music, featuring a variety of theatrical elements including fireworks, pyrotechnics, and confetti.

Mars incorporated personal heritage into the show, paying homage to his Puerto Rican father, salsa percussionist Peter Hernandez, and legendary musician Tito Puente. The performance included a rendition of ‘Cha Cha’ on the congas and a bolero opening titled ‘Risk It All’ while dressed in a red charro suit. Other highlights included choreographed performances of ‘Treasure’ with his group, The Hooligans, and a stage appearance by a vintage cherry-red Cadillac.
