Brusciano presents Giglio Gentile awards to civic leaders

The municipality of Brusciano held the ceremony for the ‘Giglio Gentile – Città di Brusciano’ award, an honor recognizing individuals who demonstrate responsibility, listening, and service to others through professional and civic commitment.

Among the recipients was the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, honored for his institutional sense and commitment to legality and dialogue. Journalist Domenico Iannacone was also recognized for his sensitive reporting on social peripheries; his award was accepted via video link by Mimmo Rubio.

Other honorees included international scientist Annamaria Colao, for her integration of research and humanity in medicine, and Rosanna Romano, a regional official from Campania, for her institutional work in the cultural sector.
