Brusque driver taken to police station after hitting pole

A driver was taken to a police station in Brusque after her vehicle veered off the road and struck a pole in the Dom Joaquim neighborhood on Thursday night. Although the impact caused significant damage to the front of the vehicle and spilled automotive fluids onto the roadway, the driver was not injured.

According to the Military Firefighters, there were indications that the woman had consumed alcohol. Firefighters applied sawdust to the road to manage the spilled fluids and ensure safety. The driver was placed under the responsibility of the Military Police for legal procedures.
