Brazilian municipalities launch multiple public‑sector hiring and training programs

Tubarão (Santa Catarina) released a selection notice for temporary teaching roles with salaries up to R$5,130. Novo Hamburgo (Rio Grande do Sul) confirmed a municipal guard contest but indicated the required qualification will be raised to a university degree.

Finally, the Rio Grande do Sul assembly approved a law obligating a professional tourism guide on excursions with more than 16 participants. These announcements reflect coordinated efforts by state and municipal authorities to expand public‑sector staffing and vocational training.
