Brussels Climate March features MSF and ULB participation

Various organizations are participating in a Climate March scheduled for October 11 in Brussels.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is highlighting the link between the climate crisis and global health emergencies. The organization notes that climate change exacerbates existing vulnerabilities in conflict zones, including food insecurity, water scarcity, and the spread of epidemic diseases. MSF emphasizes that extreme weather events damage essential infrastructure and increase pressure on already strained healthcare systems.

Additionally, the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) is mobilizing its academic community for the march. The university aims to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and political response through initiatives like the reACT network, which promotes interdisciplinary research and ecological transformations within academic institutions.
