Brussels court to rule on Romanian ROMATSA account seizure

The Court of First Instance in Brussels is set to hear cases regarding the seizure of accounts belonging to the Romanian Air Traffic Services Administration (ROMATSA) and the Romanian state. The legal dispute involves a precautionary seizure instituted by Eurocontrol following enforcement proceedings initiated by Pfizer Romania SRL.

The claimed amount totals 3.42 billion lei in principal and interest, plus an additional 18.5 million euros in recovery costs. Both the Romanian Ministry of Finance and ROMATSA are contesting the measure, seeking to lift the freeze on their accounts.
