Brussels hosts inaugural Spirit of Life event for European spirits

The first edition of Spirit of Life took place in Brussels from September 7 to 10, organized by SpiritsEurope. The event brought together professionals, policymakers, and experts from across Europe to highlight the spirits sector.

During the Belgian Night on September 7, Belgian distillers were showcased under the theme ‘Crafted in Belgium, Shared with Europe’. The event emphasized how Belgian producers combine traditional family craftsmanship with modern innovation and export capabilities.

Notable participants included Filliers Distillery, a multi-generational family business producing aged genever and single malt whisky, and Radermacher Distillery, which has been active since 1836. Other featured producers included FX de Beukelaer, maker of Elixir d’Anvers, and Distillerie de Waterlooi.
