Brussels tourism and regional travel options

Brussels offers various cultural and historical experiences for visitors, including the Brussels Art Nouveau Pass. This pass allows access to three selected locations dedicated to Art Nouveau and Art Deco, such as the Horta Museum and Maison Autrique. Valid for nine months from the date of purchase, the pass includes discounts on guided architectural tours.

Beyond the capital, Belgium’s rail network facilitates easy day trips to several historic locations. Ghent is noted for its medieval architecture, including St. Nicholas’s Church and St. Bavo’s Cathedral, as well as modern landmarks like the City Pavilion. Waterloo provides historical sites related to the Napoleonic Wars, such as the Lion’s Mound and the Musée Wellington. Additionally, the coastal city of Ostend serves as a destination for art and seaside exploration.
