Brutalismus 3000 and Arca unleash experimental new albums

Berlin duo Brutalismus 3000 released their new album Harmony, a 37‑minute burst of hardcore gabber‑maximalism. The project, produced by Theo Zeidner with vocals by Viktoria Vasiliki Daldas, features collaborations with Dylan Brady, actress Anya Taylor‑Joy, Underworld and Boys Noize, and showcases the pair’s shift from German‑language tracks to English lyrics with a pronounced accent.

Venezuelan producer Arca returned with the album XXXXX, reviving the stark electronic language of her early releases Xen (2014) and Mutant (2015). The record moves abruptly between ambient, noise and industrial sections, with tracks such as “No End,” “Heart,” “Syncope,” and “Sueño” illustrating a blend of harsh 808 drums, metallic percussion and sparse vocal moments.
