The State Election Commission (KSHZ) has approved the financial plan and guidelines for the early mayoral elections in the municipality of Bërvenicë, scheduled for October 18.

According to KSHZ President Bojan Maričić, the total budget for organizing and conducting the elections is 21.1 million denars, approximately 343,000 euros, which was recently approved by the Government. Of this total, 3 million denars (roughly 48,800 euros) are allocated specifically for paid political advertising in the media, with the remaining funds covering all other necessary electoral process expenses.

The commission also approved changes to its Annual Plan to include 'Program 21', a new budget program dedicated exclusively to election activities. This adjustment ensures the necessary minimum supplies and resources are available for the Bërvenicë electoral process.
