Brvenica mayoral candidates announced for upcoming by-elections

Candidates have been announced for the upcoming by-elections for the Mayor of Brvenica, North Macedonia, scheduled for October 18.

VMRO-DPMNE has submitted Stojancho Radichevski as its candidate. Radichevski, the current president of the party's municipal committee in Brvenica and a law graduate, is positioned by the party as a candidate of continuity for the late Mayor Jovica Ilievski. VMRO-DPMNE General Secretary Dragan Kovacki expressed confidence in a victory, calling for a fair and democratic campaign.

SDSM has nominated Jovica Radeski for the position. Radeski, a veterinarian and current municipal councilor, is described by the party as an individual with extensive experience working closely with local citizens and the private sector. He enters the race with a platform focused on improving living conditions across all settlements within the municipality.
