Bërvenica political endorsements spark debate ahead of elections

Political activity is intensifying in Bërvenica ahead of the upcoming elections. Bilall Kasami, Vice President of the VLEN party, has endorsed candidate Jakup Huseini, stating that a victory for Huseini would mark the 11th municipality to be led by VLEN. Kasami promised full institutional support for local projects, including improvements to schools, roads, waste management, and the completion of a sports hall and nursery in Çellopek.

In response to reports of political alignment, former Bërvenica Mayor Enver Pajaziti has issued a denial regarding any specific endorsement of Huseini. Pajaziti stated that he intends to support both candidates in the first round of voting, with the goal of unifying the Albanian political spectrum in the second round to ensure the municipality's progress, citing the need for unity to avoid narrow losses.
