Bryan Ruiz weighs future as Costa Rica national team coach

Bryan Ruiz's future as the head coach of the Costa Rica national football team remains uncertain following his successful interim period. Ruiz led the team to two victories in the Nations League, defeating Nicaragua 3-0 and Haiti 2-0, which helped the team avoid the possibility of falling into League B.

While the Costa Rican Football Federation and elements within the locker room have expressed interest in Ruiz remaining in charge, the former player stated he will not force a decision. Ruiz indicated he will analyze the situation, weighing the interests of the national team against his family commitments. He noted that the dynamic of managing a national team differs from his previous interim role at Alajuelense, where he had to step down due to his wife's delicate health situation.
