Bryan Zaragoza targeted by death chants during match in Málaga

Bryan Zaragoza, a player currently on loan from FC Bayern München to Espanyol Barcelona, was subjected to severe verbal abuse by opposing fans during a match against FC Málaga.

Following Zaragoza's 13th-minute goal, which he celebrated in his hometown of Málaga, sections of the home crowd began chanting “Bryan, muerete” (Bryan, die). The hostility escalated after a physical confrontation between Zaragoza and Málaga player Carlos Puga, resulting in yellow cards for both players.

The incident is particularly noted due to Zaragoza's personal ties to the city, where he was born and maintains family connections. The verbal attacks are expected to lead to disciplinary action from the Spanish league against FC Málaga.
