Bryant and Rhode Island College secure athletic results

In recent collegiate athletic matchups, Bryant University and Rhode Island College achieved notable results in field hockey and soccer, respectively.

Bryant University’s field hockey team defeated LIU 6-2. Callie Caito set a single-game program record by recording seven points, including three goals and one assist. Other contributors for the Bulldogs included Claire Joss, who provided two assists, and Elyse Bouchard, who scored the opening goal. Bryant improves to a 7-7 overall record.

In soccer, Rhode Island College secured a 2-2 draw against conference-leading Western Connecticut State. Julian Orellana and Moise Augustin each scored for the Anchormen. Despite dominating the first half with nine shots, Rhode Island College was unable to maintain the lead after Western Connecticut responded with goals in the 51st and 64th minutes. Rhode Island College currently holds a 5-4-5 record.
