Bryce Young emerges as NFL MVP contender with Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is emerging as a potential NFL MVP candidate following a strong start to the season. Young currently leads the league in passing yards with 1,268 and has guided the Panthers' offense to the fourth-highest scoring output in the NFL.

Analysis of the Panthers' offense highlights Chuba Hubbard as an efficient target in the passing game. Despite a low volume of targets, Young maintains a 138.1 passer rating when throwing to Hubbard, who has caught 10 of his 11 targets for 84 yards and two touchdowns through four games. Tetairoa McMillan also remains a significant offensive threat for the team.

In addition to Young's performance, Buffalo Bills defensive player Greg Rousseau is noted as a potential Defensive Player of the Year contender, currently leading the league with six sacks and three forced fumbles.
