Fashion executives Bryan and Michelle Walker found dead in Berkeley

Fashion industry executives Bryan Walker and Michelle Min were found shot and dead on a terrace at their hillside home near UC Berkeley on Friday morning. Local authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 10:43 a.m. near Panoramic Way.

Family members suggest the incident was a murder-suicide triggered by extreme financial distress and mental health struggles. Paul Min, the brother of Michelle Min, stated that Bryan Walker had secretly taken out loans against family properties and lost over $100 million through high-risk options and leveraged positions.

According to the family, Walker had suffered a mental collapse following these losses. While Michelle Min had reportedly hired an accountant to assess the damage and attempted to stabilize their situation, the family noted that Walker had become increasingly incapacitated. The couple co-owned the women’s fashion company Bryn Walker.
