BSC and Hana Securities establish strategic partnership

BIDV Securities (BSC) and Hana Securities have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen capital market connections between Vietnam and South Korea. This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both institutions to enhance financial services and expand economic cooperation.

The partnership comes as the Vietnamese stock market enters a new development phase following its transition from a frontier to a secondary emerging market. South Korean investors have shown significant interest in Vietnam, with South Korea being the largest foreign investor in the country as of July 2026, holding over 10,500 projects with a total registered capital of approximately 102.6 billion USD.

Recent data indicates continued capital allocation from South Korea into the Vietnamese market. For instance, the ACE Vietnam VN30 (Synthetic) ETF listed in South Korea recorded a net purchase of approximately 129.68 billion won, or roughly 90 million USD, within a single month as of October 2026.
