BSF Mobile Cranes expands fleet with two new Liebherr cranes

Queensland-based BSF Mobile Cranes has expanded its fleet by adding two new Liebherr cranes to support complex infrastructure, industrial, and construction projects. The expansion includes a 450-tonne LTM 1400-6.1 mobile crane and an MK 88-4.1E mobile construction crane.

Director Anthony Stoeckert stated that the 450-tonne crane increases the company’s heavy-lift capacity and reach while maintaining a footprint similar to their existing 350-tonne model. The equipment features VarioBallast and VarioBase technologies, which are designed to assist with operations on confined urban construction sites. The MK 88-4.1E is noted as the first mobile construction crane of its type in Australia, intended for rapid deployment in space-constrained environments.
