BSH announces leadership changes with Rudolf Klötscher as new CEO

BSH has announced a leadership transition within its management board. Effective October 1, 2026, Rudolf Klötscher will succeed Matthias Metz as CEO and Chairman of the Management Board. Klötscher, who has been part of the management board since 2023 and currently oversees the China and North America regions, will assume all of Metz’s previous responsibilities.

Matthias Metz is stepping down from the company after four years at the helm to pursue new entrepreneurial opportunities. Additionally, Alexander Dony, the current Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, will leave the company on September 30, 2026.

As part of the restructuring, Mirko Aksentijevic will be appointed to the management board on October 1, 2026. Aksentijevic, who currently leads the Europe region, will expand his remit to include the Emerging Markets and India regions, global brand management, and global customer service.
