Bàsquet Menorca faces roster gaps ahead of preseason

Bàsquet Menorca is facing significant roster challenges as the preseason approaches. The club has officially signed American power forward Noah Haaland, a 2.06-meter player from Gonzaga University. However, the move has drawn criticism from fans due to Haaland’s limited playing time and statistics during his tenure in the NCAA.

As of late August, head coach and sporting director Javi Zamora has only seven players available for the first team: Pol Figueras, Kyle Greeley, Adams Sola, Iñaki Ordóñez, Adam Kejval, Wildens Leveque, and Marc Martí. The team is currently lacking a starting point guard and a scoring shooting guard. While AJ Slaughter is expected to join the squad, he is not anticipated to arrive until October due to his commitments with the Astros de Jalisco in Mexico.
