BSR recognized for economic and social contributions in Quang Ngai

Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) has received a commendation from the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee for its significant contributions to state tax revenue and social welfare.

In the first nine months of 2026, the Dung Quat Refinery operated at an average of 123% of its design capacity, producing approximately 6.15 million tons of products. This resulted in a consolidated revenue of over 164,000 billion VND and a state budget contribution of more than 10,500 billion VND.

Looking forward, BSR aims to accelerate the upgrade and expansion of the Dung Quat Refinery and develop green products such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and E10. The company is also focusing on increasing the proportion of domestic crude oil, with plans to reach approximately 88% usage. BSR continues to play a critical role in Vietnam's national energy security by maintaining stable supply and managing raw material risks amidst geopolitical fluctuations.
