BSSN inaugurates 59 cyber incident response teams

The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) has officially inaugurated 59 Cyber Incident Response Teams (TTIS) to strengthen national cybersecurity synergy. The teams are distributed across 13 ministries and agencies, 37 local governments, seven health sector entities, and two education sector entities.

BSSN Head Nugroho Sulistyo Budi emphasized that cybersecurity is the foundation of national digital transformation. He urged the teams to identify assets and risks comprehensively, implementing principles such as ‘security by design’, ‘defense in depth’, and ‘resilience by architecture’. This initiative aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s directive for all government levels to establish incident response capabilities.

As part of this movement, the Karimun Regency Government has also strengthened its cyber defenses by receiving official registration from BSSN. This step aims to protect public data and ensure the security of digital-based public services through the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE).
