BSSN receives Unqualified Opinion from BPK for 2025 financial reports

The Indonesian Audit Board (BPK) has granted the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for its 2025 financial statements. This designation indicates that the agency's financial reports are presented fairly in all material respects according to Government Accounting Standards.

BPK member Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana praised BSSN for being a responsive and responsible government institution, noting that the agency has fully addressed all previous audit recommendations. BSSN was also recognized as one of the fastest ministries or agencies to submit its financial reports to the BPK.

Despite the positive opinion, the BPK identified several areas for improvement. These include the optimization of fixed assets, better management of intangible assets, and addressing discrepancies in technical specifications and volumes in certain procurement packages that led to overpayments. The BPK recommended a thorough inventory of assets and the return of excess payments to the state treasury.
