Büsum tourism: Breakdown of costs for beach visitors

Visitors to the North Sea resort of Büsum face various costs including spa taxes, beach chair rentals, and parking. During the high season from April to October, the daily spa tax is 4.00 Euro per person, with a reduced rate of 2.80 Euro. Children and youths under 16 are exempt from this fee.

Additional costs for a day trip can vary significantly. For a couple in the high season, total daily expenses may range from 40 to 110 Euro, while a family of four might spend between 55 and 160 Euro. Parking near the beach costs 2.00 Euro per hour or 10.00 Euro for a day pass, though free parking is available further away near the harbor youth hostel.

Büsum features approximately 600 beach chairs equipped with digital locks that can be operated via an app. As a recognized North Sea health resort, the spa tax applies to those using the beach, dikes, or public toilets.
