BT Capital Partners reaches 35,000 trading accounts via BT Pay

BT Capital Partners has reached a milestone of 35,000 stock market trading accounts opened through the BT Pay application. This figure represents a doubling of the number of accounts since June 2026.

The growth is attributed to the integration of investment services within the BT Pay app and the introduction of the BT Romania ETF, an investment fund traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Most new investors originate from the Private and Premium Banking segments of Banca Transilvania, with high activity reported in cities such as Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Constanța, Iași, and Timișoara.

Daniela Secară, CEO of BT Capital Partners, noted that the increase reflects a shift in mindset toward long-term prosperity and increased accessibility to investing. Currently, over 90,000 people invest on the Bucharest Stock Exchange via BT Capital Partners. The company's net asset value has exceeded 40 billion lei, approximately €8 billion.
