bTaskee platform struggles to recruit cleaners despite high hourly earnings in Vietnam
The Vietnamese gig‑platform bTaskee reports that its hourly domestic‑cleaning workers can earn an average of 33 million VND per month, not including client bonuses. Service rates range from 80,000 to 120,000 VND per hour, with higher pay during evenings, weekends and holidays under a “price‑by‑demand” model.
Despite strong demand, the company says it is still “red‑eyed” for staff, needing more than 500 additional cleaners in Ho Chi Minh City. To attract workers it offers a referral bonus of 200,000 VND per new recruit and an extra 100,000 VND if the recruit completes at least 20 jobs with a rating of 4.8 stars or higher within 30 days. Some cleaners also generate extra income through advertising and affiliate marketing on social‑media channels.
bTaskee operates in four Southeast Asian countries, has a network of over 15 000 collaborators and serves 21 provinces and cities across Vietnam.
