BTCC reports $387 billion in Q3 futures trading volume

Crypto exchange BTCC reported that its futures trading volume reached $387 billion in the third quarter, representing a 32% increase from the previous quarter.

A significant driver of this growth was the expansion of contracts linked to traditional financial assets (TradFi). Trading volume in this category rose to $16.3 billion, up from approximately $2.7 billion in the second quarter. This growth follows the launch of new USDC-margined trading pairs involving assets such as Bitcoin, Dogecoin, SK Hynix, and Moderna.

The reported figures are based on the exchange's own internal growth report and have not been verified against independent market data. Because futures trading involves notional contract values that can far exceed the actual margin deposited, the total volume does not necessarily indicate a corresponding influx of new capital into the platform.
