Roberto Sallouti, CEO of BTG Pactual, shared insights regarding his professional journey during the Prêmio Na Prática 2026 event. Coming from an immigrant family, Sallouti noted that his father arrived in Brazil as a refugee and emphasized the transformative power of education in his upbringing.

Sallouti described his career path as non-linear, beginning with a summer internship at the institution where he met Chairman André Esteves. He highlighted that his success was driven by dedication and a willingness to take risks, stating, “When the chance appeared, I was never ready, but I went in headfirst.”
