BTG Pactual nears deal to operate Palmeiras' Nubank Parque

BTG Pactual is in advanced negotiations to assume the operation of Nubank Parque, the stadium used by the Palmeiras football club, through 2044. The proposed agreement would see BTG share management responsibilities with WTorre, which is expected to maintain a minority stake in the new partnership.

Palmeiras is aware of the negotiations but does not hold decision-making power in this matter, as the club has granted surface rights to WTorre until 2044. The transition in management is not expected to impact the club's existing contractual rights or its share of stadium revenues.

In 2024, BTG's credit manager, Enforce, acquired WTorre's debt with Banco do Brasil, which was valued at approximately R$ 650 million. This debt pertains to the construction of the stadium. Following a recent naming rights deal, the venue formerly known as Allianz Parque has been rebranded as Nubank Parque.
