BTK report: Alo 182 hospital appointments most dialed short number

According to the Electronic Communications Sector Report for the second quarter released by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), the Alo 182 hospital appointment system was the most frequently dialed short number in Turkey. This trend mirrors the same period from the previous year.

Across the three major operators, the data showed varying secondary preferences. For Turkcell and TT Mobil, the 112 Emergency Call Center was the second most dialed number. For Vodafone, the 186 electricity fault reporting line held the second position. Other frequently used short numbers included Alo 185 for water faults, Alo 153 for municipal services, and Alo 170 for the Working Life Communication Center.

While Alo 182 saw a decrease in average call duration during this quarter, the Alo 170 Working Life Communication Center recorded the longest average call durations, as citizens used the line to inquire about topics such as overtime and report wages. Conversely, the shortest average call durations were recorded for the Alo 112 emergency line and the Alo 186 electricity fault line.
