BTL establishes new laser division and announces EXOLASE ONE®

BTL, a global leader in medical and aesthetic energy devices, has announced the establishment of a dedicated laser division. This new division marks the company’s sixth core business sector, joining its existing operations in aesthetics, mental health, rehabilitation, cardiology, and robotics.

As part of this expansion, BTL is preparing to launch its flagship laser system, EXOLASE ONE®. The technology utilizes a patented method to merge multiple Er:YAG laser wavelengths into a single beam. This approach allows for the simultaneous treatment of the same location, creating a new form of laser-tissue interaction designed to improve clinical efficacy, treatment speed, and patient comfort.

Clinical researchers note that the system can perform comprehensive facial treatments in approximately 10 minutes, combining functions that typically require multiple ablative and non-ablative systems. Following an early trial program for selected key opinion leaders, EXOLASE ONE® is scheduled for a broader global release in 2027, initially focusing on dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
