BTS ‘Arirang’ tour concerts to be broadcast in global cinemas

BigHit Music has announced that select performances from BTS’s ‘Arirang’ world tour will be broadcast live to approximately 3,800 movie theaters globally. The cinema screenings will feature the group’s third concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 24, and their second concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on October 30.

Broadcast times will be adjusted to local time zones. Fans in regions such as Asia and Australia can expect to view the screenings one to two days after the live performances take place.

The Latin American leg of the tour is set to begin on October 2 in Bogota, Colombia, and will include stops in Lima, Peru, and Santiago, Chile, totaling 14 shows across the continent. The ‘Arirang’ tour is noted as the largest ever conducted by a K-pop artist, following a North American leg that attracted 1.92 million attendees over 31 shows.
